Stampers Delights

(AKA Scrapper's Delights)

Stampers Delights formally known as Scrapper's Delights was formed in May 2009 by Janice Cullen

Janice has always been evolved in crafts in one way or another for pleasure but at the time it was not something she had thought of as a business so up until 2009 she had worked in Management and Training Roles for companies such as Tesco, Choices Video, Beatties & Key Training. In 2006 her & her husband were blessed with a wonderful baby boy which started her on the natural journey of Scrapbooking were she found the Digital world hence the brand name Scrapper's Delights as she created fantasy Digital Scrapbook Kits.

In 2011 that she found the colouring world of digital stamps quite by accident and started to create illustrations to be used within digital crafts along side her Scrap Kits, the Digi stamps quickly took over her already successful kits but the demand was too high so she started to create digital stamps full time and submersed herself in the handmade crafting community were she was welcomed with open arms and never looked back But never forgot were she came from and often likes to mix it in now and then..

As a Freelance illustrator and designer Janice also designs for other Crafting brands - often anonymously

"My son is my world, I have learnt so much from him and being his mother as life has not been easy for him with his medical conditions and Learning difficulties but he never lets it bother him and is so happy most of the time although I will give you an update in a year or so as he is 14 so the good old teen years".

Q) How did you get into crafting?
I have been crafting for many years even as far as to say as a child as we always made each other hand made cards and even after all these years I have to say I love it more each day and I am still totally addicted!

Q) What are your preferred tools?
I love colouring with my copic's and Spectrum Noir Pencils.

Q) What crafty hobbies do you have?
TOO MANY that's for sure lol
When time permits I love creating spreads in my planner, working in my Art Journal, mixed media projects and creating one of a kind dolls.

Q) When did your hobby turn into a small business?
I guess I seriously started to craft when my son was born doing scrapbooking but anyone with kids knows that they take up sooooo much room with all their "Stuff" so I turned to Digital Scrapbooking and I loved it that much I started to creating my own Digital Scrapbook kits back in 2008 and it snowballed from there really.
I opened my own store in 2009 and then in 2011 switched over to creating Digital stamps and well never looked back.

Q) What is your favourite type of artwork and/or characters?
I love anything Anime/manga/chibi and Kawaii and that is the main style my images have.

Q) What makes you the happiest about what you do?
Well apart from the flexibility working from home gives me to help support my son and of cause my sanity although I am not so sure about that saying that "crafting is cheaper than therapy" not for me I am afraid lol
Creating with my own artwork is special.... when I have time that is but most of all I love seeing what others
create with it.
